The Two Options

1

Stage 1 Correction

The most cost effective package - recommended for cars that have minor paint defects such as light swirling. A mix between 3D AIO and 3D One is used to achieve the best possible results in one pass. 50-60% removal can be expected, depending on the clear coat hardness.

Expect to see the paint enhanced, minor defects removed and a slick finish.

Stage 2 Correction

A stage 2 correction is a 2 pass method. The first pass is an aggressive wool pad/510 compound combo to cut back approximately 80% of defects. After this stage has been completed, a medium cut/polish is used to remove defects from the original pass (wool pad leaves light scratches behind). After the second stage is complete the paint will have greatly improved clarity and depth.

Holograms and most swirls can generally be removed from a stage 1 due to the lack of depth the damage deals. As for marring, deep scratches and acid/water etching, these need some more cutting which is where the stage 2 comes in.

Rules for deep scratches, if you can feel it or it is bumpy, it is past the clear coat and needs a touchup.
